Vinous Neal Martin - 21 Mar 21
The 2018 Moulin Riche has an attractive and well-defined bouquet of precise blackberry and briary aromas; cedar and light minty notes develop with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins; there is wonderful balance to this Moulin Riche. Quite sweet and velvety on the finish, with a touch of dark chocolate. Seductive.

The 2018 Moulin Riche is deep garnet purple in color. It needs coaxing to reveal notes of warm cassis, plum preserves, and cedar, plus wafts of cloves and unsmoked cigars. Medium-bodied, it is elegant and refreshing in the mouth but just a tad lean and short.
